Day 74: Riding the GAP

Start: Pittsburgh PA

End:Boston PA

Distance: 23.07 miles

Elevation: 456 feet

I am starting the Greater Allegheny Passage trail (GAP) which originates in Cumberland Maryland and terminates in Pittsburgh. I am running it backwards.

The GAP starts at the stunningly beautiful Point State Park at the confluence Allegheny, Monogahela rivers to form the Ohio river.

I am getting a late start 10am due to rain, but it now sunny. I am anticipating a changed ride for the pace is going to change to more tourist mode instead of finish mode. Plus this area is full of cool history of frontier forts and steel industry. 

Lots of pictures today for such a short ride. But the day is way enjoyable.

I pull up after a short 23 mile ride. All is good.
